Travelling to Istanbul for a hair transplant: planning notes

When should you book your flight?

Booking your flight once the procedure date has been confirmed following the doctor’s assessment reduces the risk of changes. Plan your return flight for after the first wash — that is, at least one day after the procedure.

Accommodation and companions

A quiet hotel close to the clinic keeps transfers short in the first days. Travelling with a companion adds comfort on the procedure day and afterwards.

After you return

On the plane, it is important to use a neck pillow and to avoid rubbing the recipient area against the overhead locker. Once you are home, follow-up consultations are scheduled with your coordinator.
